Come visit Birmingham April 14th - April 26th and take a tour of the jewelry stores to vote for your favorite 'Jewelers of Birmingham Scholarship Competition' jewelry piece! This year we have 44 entries from 10 Oakland County high schools - all the pieces will be displayed in participating jewelry stores in town. The juried prize winners have been announced, but now it's up to YOU, the public, to pick your People's Choice winner, who will receive a 'Night on the Town' prize and, of course, your recognition for his/her hard work. We are very proud to have organized this event for the last 8+ years and I am very happy to continue as President of this wonderful association. Special thanks to Zanna my studio manager/ Secretary of the association!
Here's what we'll have at Grinstein's:
'Sterling Silver Bezel Ring' by Deanna Patch of Waterford Mott High School (1st prize winner of juried competition)
'Snake texture' by Will Murphy of Bloomfield Hills High School
'Will You Coral Me?' by Sarah Matthews of Detroit Country Day School
'The Flamboyant Flowers' by Alexandra Miller of Waterford Mott High School
'Untitled' by Phillip Shamsuddoha of Bloomfield Hills High School
